Delilah is from our Gracy/Starbuck litter.  She is a Cafe au Lait Standard Poodle.  Born Brown, this color quickly "clears" to a shimmery, mink/taupe color that in some ways is reminiscent of the color of a Weimaraner.  While super stylish in her full show coat, Delilah is an outdoorsy girl who loves to go hiking and camping and she is always up for a good game of Frisbee.  She makes quite a splash when we go out in public because not very many people have seen a Brown or Cafe Poodle before.  

Delilah was very successful in the show ring.   She finished her AKC Championship with 3 Best of Variety wins out of the classes over multiple Specials.  Delilah currently is competing in Obedience.  She has her Companion Dog (CD) title and she is training for Open.   She will take a break this winter to have her 1st litter, but she will be back in the ring Obedience ring summer of 2012.   Delilah rounds out her schedule working as a Reading Therapy dog for Paws 4 Responsibility.  She works in libraries and schools to help reluctant readers overcome their fears and blocks to reading.
